Biddestone FC Youth was founded in April 2006 by Gordon Barrs,Adrian Hall and Peter Colledge Initially 8 boys joined us to start the u10’s ,with 3 being our own sons This soon jumped to 16 when the Frogwell and Queens Cresent Gang enrolled The final Tally was 21 players which enabled us to enter 2 x Teams into the League The Hornets were the first Team and the Wasps the second First ever Matches for Biddestone FC Hornets and Wasps resulted in 2 wins. Hornets Finished the Season as League Winners and received League Sheild Wasps had problems with player availability and played most games with no substitutes. Wasps Awarded Sportsmanship Award of £400 worth of Umbro Vouchers from Wiltshire FA. Approach from Tony Hallett to see if Biddestone would welcome an under 8’s Team Under 8’s started with 5 or 6 players and soon doubled to 12. Final count today is 19 Under 11’s start 11 aside and moved up 1 League Position. First half of year Finish top of their group and move up 2 more leagues for final half of season U8’s start playing friendlies with local clubs then progress to the larger more established Clubs like Trowbridge. U8’s prove to be a very capable team To date, Total Biddestone FC Youth Members is 40 New Players from other local more established Teams now Biddestone Members. September 2009 see's the start of the Biddestone u6's managed by Judy Hallett. 2009 saw the U12's WIN their League, U9's Hornets promoted to the 1st Division and WIN Wootton Bassett Tournament and the U9's Wasps WIN their League.
Club Achievements 2008 - 2009 Season (06/07/09)
2008 - 2009 Season has seen the Club grow to 44 Members with 4 Teams. This is due to the excellent facilities at Biddestone coupled with the dedicated Coaching Staff to provide friendly, constructive tuition.
Paul Harvey completes his FA Level 2 and is now working on his FA Level 3, he has also completed his FA Goalkeeping Level 1 Nigel Tripp completes his FA Level 2 Jez Young completes his FA Level 1 Judy Hallett completes her FA Level 1
Susan Harris completed her Welfare Officer and Safeguarding Children Course.
